About

Our project, Inclusive New Media Design (INMD), is trying to find out the best ways to encourage web designers to make web sites that work for everyone, especially people with learning disabilities. We want to make sure that people with learning disabilities are included in the Web.

We have run workshops with web designers to train them on how to make web sites that work for people with learning disabilities. We are now sharing our ideas on the Web, with a wider group of web workers, to try to encourage more people to make web sites that work for everyone.

Inclusive New Media Design takes place at The Rix Centre in London. It is paid for by the Arts and Humanities Research Council's Designing for the 21st Century initiative. The project is led by Dr Helen Kennedy.
