Web Accessibility

As part of my ongoing work with Inclusive New Media Design – a research project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and led by Helen Kennedy from the University of Leeds, I’ve been working within a team on a new version of their website, evolving from the previous version i designed and built. (see previous posts for the last iteration).

The new version, designed and built by a team including myself, Prisca Schmarsow of Eyedea, Helen Kennedy from the University of Leeds and Simon Evans of Cognable is live at http://www.inclusivenewmedia.org.

Below are some animations created by Prisca Schmarsow as part of a viral campaign promoting the site and inclusive, accessible web design.

How accessible is your website?
How do you include intellectually disabled users?
What exactly is intellectual disability?
Is full accessibility possible?
