A Freelance Web Designer in London
I’m Ben. A Freelance Web Designer and Front End Developer from the north of England, currently living and working in London. I learned to type before I learned to write and things really haven’t changed much.
My work has been featured in Web Designer Magazine and I designed a User Interface for an interactive TV service available to 9 million people.
In 2011 I set up The Tennessee Recording Company (a Nashville based Record Label) with Matchbox Twenty guitarist Kyle Cook and his long-time friend and collaborator Mike Fiorentino.
I spent 3 years working for an awesome SEO agency called Fresh Egg, then packed my bags and spent a year traveling around the world. After returning home I contracted for creative agencies in London, before finally taking the plunge to become a full time freelance web designer in February 2014.
These days I can be found in my living room working for my clients on their exciting projects and establishing the digital presence of Tennessee Recording Artists; writing articles for my blog and helping other freelancers achieve freelance independence.
There are two sides of me
I am a multi-disciplined web designer, studying and specialising in all of the key areas required to conceptualise, build, launch and ensure the success of a website. I like to build long-term relationships with my clients and get more out of a project when I feel personally invested in its success.
