Spun Candy is a British, artisan producer of Hand-Crafted Candy
To redesign and rebuild a new network of websites for an artisan candy maker franchise in London. Spun Candy required a primary eCommerce site with the unique capability of being able to quickly replicate for use with other franchised stores in different parts of the world.
The client needed to be able to roll out updates on the main site, which would automatically disseminate down to franchisee sites safely and quickly.

What I did
I started out as a designer in my career, so I love to work with really creative design briefs like this one.
We used bubble-gum pinks and blues, and lots of popping design ligatures to help match the fun and light-hearted nature of the brand.
I used lots of images in isolation to help the products shine.
I implemented the entire build via WordPress Multisite to allow for the creation of a network of franchise sites which could easily be created and replicated.
Spun Candy’s new website also featured an eCommerce store integrated with multiple payment gateways and a simple filtering navigation system. In addition to the usual eCommerce functionality required with an online store, Spun Candy needed integration with CheckFront to support their masterclasses , which were held in store at each of their worldwide locations.
These isolated packaging shots look stunning against the white backdrop. As part of the project, I worked with a photographer to produce a huge variety of stunning imagery, which we went on to use in the design work, both on the website, and in supporting marketing collateral.
I am good at managing my schedule, so I can usually get projects booked in without much lead time. Let’s get our heads together and get your project done.
